Privacy Notice

UnlockQubits (unlockqubits.com) publishes The Beginner's Guide to Quantum Computing by Sunil Tyagi, free to read online. This notice explains what the site collects and why.

1. Reading the book

You can read the whole book without an account, payment or sign-up. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles each request and may keep routine technical data (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for security and performance, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. Page text uses the Poppins font served by Google Fonts, so your browser also contacts Google when a page loads.

2. Rating and reviewing the book

If you rate the book, we store:

• your star rating and the date;
• the name and review text you choose to enter, if any;
• a one-way hash of your IP address, so that each visitor has one rating. The hash cannot be turned back into your IP address, and the address itself is not stored.

The average rating and the number of ratings are shown on the home page. Reviews are read before they are published; a published review shows the name you entered (or "Anonymous"), your star rating and the date. Please don't put personal contact details in a review.

To have your rating or review removed, email us from the address below and tell us roughly when you submitted it and what it said.

3. Emailing us

If you write to contact@unlockqubits.com, your message is forwarded to the author's mailbox and is used only to reply to you.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, trade or rent any information. Nothing is shared beyond the service providers named above, except where the law requires it.

5. Young readers

The book is suitable for students. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before submitting a review.

6. Changes

If this notice changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
